Course Substitution Request Form

Use this form to submit requests to have previously completed coursework evaluated for possible degree application.  Be aware that there are no guarantees of a substitution approval. Submit the required documentation and await a determination from the Department. Once a course has been evaluated, it cannot be resubmitted again. Lower level courses (1000-2000 level) are unable to be substituted for advanced courses (3000-4000 level). Once a course has been evaluated, it cannot be resubmitted again. 

You will need to provide at least one of the following types of documentation:

  • Copy of Course Syllabus (Must be from the specific semester you took the course)
  • Course Description (from Institution's website)
  • Documentation from Textbook/Professor

** BAAS Students **

If you are a BAAS student, submit your requests through the OWLS Department.

Criminal Justice majors/minors must submit a syllabus for any class that will apply to the degree. The syllabus must be from the semester you completed the course.
